Every nonprofit, college, university, healthcare organization, and good cause is telling their donors that funding is urgently needed. This is especially true right now, when sudden shifts in federal funding have caused many organizations to scramble for support.
Rather than joining the shouting match about what your organization has lost or could lose, you need to connect with your donors on a deeper level. Donors give because they want to be part of something bigger than themselves. They want to make a difference in the community, to support causes they care about, and to create a better future and world.
It’s time to focus on what your donors value and how they can make an immediate impact. It’s not about what your organization wants; it’s about what the donor wants to achieve and how your organization can help them do it.
In response to requests from our members, DER is excited to welcome Mission Minded Co-Founder & Creative Director Zach Hochstadt on June 18, from 3:00-4:30pm PT. Join us for this special program to learn how to prioritize the donors most likely to give now, how to communicate with them in a compelling way, and how to remove barriers so your donors are motivated to step in and support their community and your work.
