Moderators and Panelists:

Christy Duncan Anderson, President & Executive Director, Albertsons Companies Foundation

Christy Duncan Anderson is the Executive Director and President Albertsons of Companies Foundation and spearheads  the Nourishing Neighbors movement to eradicate hunger in our neighborhoods. In her over 15 years at Albertsons and Safeway, Christy started in marketing and worked on the O Baby and O Toddler launches and was in the think tank group that initially developed and launched Just4U.  Christy previously worked at many nonprofit organizations, served in the Peace Corps, and worked at J. Walter Thompson. Christy believes in the power of local communities and has worked as a change agent to stretch the traditional roles of corporations beyond “giving back” to sparking true impact and transformation.

 

Calla Devlin Rongerude, Director, Open to All

Calla Devlin Rongerude is the director for Open to All, where she convenes the nonprofit sector with businesses to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Calla has nearly 20 years’ nonprofit experience creating and implementing national and state-level communications and public education campaigns focusing on discrimination and civil rights. She has worked extensively in coalitions, including with civil rights groups, businesses, labor unions, faith leaders, and advocacy organizations. She started her career in the book and publishing industry, where she specialized in news-driven marketing and communications campaigns that positioned authors as experts, addressing such topics as Islamophobia and religious tolerance.

George-Axelle Broussillon Matschinga, VP Diversity and Inclusion, SEPHORA

George-Axelle Broussillon Matschinga is the vice president of D&I at Sephora. She leads the design, strategic direction, implementation, and business alignment of company D&I initiatives. Joining in 2020, she has focused on developing an even more effective ecosystem where Sephora attracts, recruits, develops and advances diverse talent and fosters workforce inclusion. Broussillon Matschinga has also built out Sephora’s overall D&I strategy and governance structure. She oversees the engagement of Sephora’s Equity Advisors and Partners, a group intersecting race, culture and civil rights organizations promoting racial equity. She also leads Sephora Employee Resource Groups, and regularly hosts listening sessions and D&I trainings across LVMH.

Ben Schorr, Associate Director Philanthropy and Social Impact, Kellogg Company

Ben Schorr is Associate Director Philanthropy and Social Impact at Kellogg Company and is responsible for helping to implement Kellogg’s Better Days™, focusing on the intersection of equitable access to food systems and social impact within our global signature purpose platform. He works closely with business and non-profit partners. He also leads employee engagement with community partners and our business employee resource groups.

Keenan Harrell, Program Manager, Community Impact, Okta

Keenan Harrell is the Program Manager for Community Impact on the Okta for Good team – working closely with Okta's global network of nonprofit partners to drive social impact initiatives across Okta's core focus areas: racial equity, workforce development, the digital divide and local critical needs. Keenan holds an M.A. in Philanthropy from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and a B.A. in Exercise & Sport Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Sahaar Rezaie, Executive Director, Genesys Works Bay Area

Sahaar Rezaie is the Executive Director of Genesys Works in the Bay Area, a national nonprofit organization focusing on career and college pathways for emerging talent. Prior to Genesys Works, Sahaar was the Founding Regional Vice President at YUPRO, a Public Benefit Corporation specializing in Impact Hiring. Sahaar brings with her over fourteen years of experience in workforce development programs and technology in both the private and public sector. Sahaar received her B.A. Degree in Global and International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Daniel (Danny) Mattison, Corporate Engagement Manager, United Way Bay Area

Daniel Mattison is a fundraiser for United Way Bay Area where he leads up campaign fundraising, corporate volunteering, and special events with Bay Area companies, namely in the South Bay region. He has worked in the United Way network for close to five years and is originally from the Midwest in Cleveland, OH. He now lives in Campbell, with his wife, 7-month old son, and goldendoodle. He has been in the Bay Area since November 2019.

Archana Venugopal, Technologist, Texas Instruments

Archana Venugopal is a Technologist and Senior Member Technical Staff at Texas Instruments with a background in si and si-pkg thermal interactions, transistor reliability and 2d material research. She also actively engages in research collaborations with universities.  She received her PhD from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2012 and has been with TI since. Her community involvement interests lie in contributing towards the education and general upliftment of children from underprivileged backgrounds. She sits on the board of High Tech High Heels and chairs the Academic Outreach Committee. She is a member of the advisory council at UWBA and education advisory council at RAFT.

Shaké Sulikyan, DER Board Member & Programs Co-Chair; Executive Search Consultant, Boyden

Shaké Sulikyan is a nationally recognized nonprofit executive and change-maker. She’s dedicated her life to making the world a better place. Shaké has over two decades of experience in aligning talent and resources to drive large-scale initiatives, build fruitful relationships, and reach record-breaking goals. Her nonprofit career includes roles in healthcare, academic medicine, higher education, social service and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States. In January 2022, she joined Boyden as an Executive Search Consultant and Senior Advisor, helping to build their social impact/nonprofit practice in the U.S. She moved to the U.S. at the age of 12 and currently lives in Livermore, CA with her husband and 11-year-old son.
