Campaigns - Where do we start?!?
A roundtable conversation with folks in the trenches.
Have you been told that your organization needs to begin a capital campaign, but you don’t know where to start? Are you wondering what style of campaign or consultant is right for your organization? What are we supposed to do during an organizational phase anyway?!?!?!
During this special roundtable, we will chat as a group about the best practices that we have experienced for this often overlooked campaign pre-work. Join other development professionals as we navigate the first crucial phases of campaigns, and help each other prepare for the best.

Ryan Helton came to DER with over a decade and a half of experience working in non-profit development, and over two decades in the non-profit education sector. He is currently the Development Director at Peninsula School Ltd. Ryan has past experiences in development leadership at Mission Graduates, Redwood Day School, Park Day School, and BELL – Building Educated Leaders for Life. With a background in annual giving programs, grant writing, major gifts, direct mail, and corporate partnerships, Ryan has a cadre of skills suited for many development shops.
